Soundtracks for a fictional film were conceived as a 'real' soundtracks for 'imaginary' films. Each track sets a scene, serves as a passage, or builds an atmosphere for the listener's own internal movie, allowing them to sit back and play out the film in their head. The tracks are thematically linked, echoing each other, and are best listened to as a complete work.

These release came about thanks to the numerous collaborations I have done over the years on HitRecord.org where I have provided soundtracks and background music to short films, videos, and animations. I've also been influenced by the works of Gabriel Yared (Betty Blue), Yann Tiersen (Amelie, Goodbye Lenin), as well as the improvisational works of Keith Jarrett
